My work explores the emotional and symbolic potential of color through abstract painting. Coming from a background in graphic design—where images are often bound to clear, figurative messages—I turn to abstraction as a way to free myself and the viewer from that constraint. Through vibrant palettes, fluid movements, and spontaneous gestures, I seek to access a more intuitive and personal mode of expression.
At the heart of my process is a belief that we are not fully in control of anything. I often work with acrylics and mixed media, pouring and layering colors in ways that embrace unpredictability. While I begin with intention, the materials eventually take over—blending, colliding, and settling on their own terms. This surrender to chance is a metaphor for how I experience life: full of possibility, but always partially out of our hands.
Inspired by Kandinsky and the broader tradition of abstract art, I use color as both language and emotion. I hope my work brings joy and energy through its brightness, but also invites the viewer into a more internal, personal space—one where they can imagine freely and connect with their own interpretations.
I studied Graphic Design and Marketing at Universidade Estadual de Londrina (Brazil), Philosophy and Languages of Modernity at Università degli Studi di Trento (Italy), and Creative Painting and Personal Inspirations at Central Saint Martins (UK). These varied experiences across disciplines and cultures continue to inform my artistic perspective and open-ended approach.
